DESCRIPTION:The new Café Istanbul proudly hosts clarinetist\, Evan Christopher for his only public event during French Quarter Festival weekend. Our spacious\, high-quality performance hall will showcase Christopher's signature style of "Contemporary Early Jazz" with some of the best musicians on the New Orleans scene including Matt Lemmler\, Don Vappie\, and Ocie Davis. The event will also include several surprise guests and an international jam session immediately following the concert. General admission tickets are $15 and $10 for students and musicians. Café Istanbul is inside the New Orleans Healing Center at 2372 St. Claude Ave. with ample free and secure parking.
